Last updated:
Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Jelly Merge 2048, provided by Power 2000 GmbH, Berlin, Germany. Full company contact details are available in our Imprint. Contact: mail@power-2000.com.
1. Using the game
When the App first shows these terms, tapping “Agree” accepts them for your use of the game. The same tap also switches on game statistics, as explained in section 3 of the Privacy Policy; you can switch statistics off at any time without affecting your use of the game.
We grant you a non-exclusive right to use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment in accordance with these terms and applicable law. The current release is free and contains no advertisements or in-app purchases.
2. Fair play and rights
Do not manipulate leaderboard submissions, interfere with services or other players, or use the App unlawfully. Rights in the App and its content remain with their respective owners. These terms do not restrict uses permitted by mandatory law or applicable third-party licences.
3. Progress and online features
Settings, achievements and progress are stored on your device. Clearing app data or uninstalling the App may remove this local information. Leaderboards (Google Play Games on Android, Apple Game Center on iOS) are an optional online feature and are not a backup of your complete local progress. Their availability also depends on Google or Apple and on your connection.
4. Updates and availability
We may provide updates to improve gameplay, compatibility or security. Online features may be temporarily unavailable. Mandatory consumer rights and any statutory obligations concerning updates, conformity and remedies remain unaffected.
5. Ending use and changes
You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. Uninstalling does not automatically delete data already transmitted to external services; see the Privacy Policy. Material changes to these terms will be communicated appropriately and accepted where required by law.
6. Consumer rights and contact
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you cannot validly accept these terms on your own under applicable law, obtain the necessary permission from your parent or legal guardian. For questions, contact mail@power-2000.com.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Power 2000 GmbH (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use Jelly Merge 2048 (“the App”) on Android or iOS.
1. Who we are
Jelly Merge 2048 is developed and published by:
Power 2000 GmbH
Berlin, Germany
Website: https://power-2000.com
Email: mail@power-2000.com
Power 2000 GmbH is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information we collect
Jelly Merge 2048 does not require you to create an account or to provide personal information such as a name, email address or phone number in order to play.
Settings, preferences, achievements, high scores and level progress are stored locally on your device.
3. Game statistics and feature experiments
What: Jelly Merge 2048 uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played and to improve balancing, tutorials, usability and technical performance. This can include app and device information, an app-instance identifier, approximate location derived by the service, sessions and gameplay events such as starting and finishing rounds, levels, scores, shots, merges, hints, pauses, sound settings, unlocked levels or achievements, and the average frame rate. We do not send your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location through these events. The data is not anonymous.
We also use Firebase Remote Config to test limited variations of game hints and the end-of-round screen. While statistics are on, the App may fetch such a configuration and record which variation you see. While statistics are off, the App uses its built-in settings and requests no experiment configuration.
When: Statistics are off when the App is first installed. They are switched on when you tap “Agree” on the welcome screen (“Let’s get started.”), which also tells you that game statistics help us improve the game and that you can turn them off in the privacy settings. If you had already refused or switched off statistics, tapping “Agree” does not switch them on again. No gameplay history from before this point is sent later.
Your choice: You can switch statistics off, and on again, at any time under “Settings & How to play → Privacy → Allow gameplay analytics” (German: “Einstellungen & Spielhilfe → Datenschutz → Spielstatistik erlauben”), also reachable from the pause menu. You can keep playing without any disadvantage. Switching off stops further collection and experiment requests and resets the App’s local Analytics data on your device. It does not automatically delete data already sent to Google; contact us for data already processed.
Legal basis: Your consent, given by tapping “Agree” as described above and withdrawable at any time with effect for the future (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, for storing or reading information on your device, § 25(1) TDDDG).
No advertising or tracking: Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation are disabled. On Android the advertising ID is not collected; on iOS the App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, does not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA) or the identifier for vendors (IDFV) through Firebase, and does not track you across apps or websites of other companies.
Firebase processes data according to Google’s applicable privacy and service terms. See Firebase privacy information and the Google Privacy Policy.
3a. Google Play Games sign-in and leaderboards (Android)
On Android, Jelly Merge 2048 uses Google Play Games Services for sign-in and three leaderboards: Short, Medium and Long. You can play without signing in.
For signed-in players with score sharing enabled, the App sends the score and the relevant leaderboard identifier to Google after a completed regular round. Tutorial rounds and test modes are never submitted, and earlier local scores are not uploaded retroactively. Google associates the submission with the player’s Play Games profile. This enables score comparison and ranking. When displaying leaderboards, the App processes player names, player identifiers, scores and rank positions.
Score sharing is enabled by default. You can turn off “Share scores with Google Play Games” under “Settings & How to play → Privacy” (German: “Scores mit Google Play Games teilen” under “Einstellungen & Spielhilfe → Datenschutz”). Turning it off prevents new score submissions. It does not delete previously submitted scores or automatically sign you out of Google Play Games.
Score sharing is independent of game statistics (section 3). The App does not send Play Games profile names or player identifiers to Firebase. Switching statistics off does not turn off score sharing, and turning off score sharing does not change your statistics choice.
Recipients and visibility
Google receives Play Games submissions; Power 2000 GmbH processes leaderboard information through the App. Other players may see your player name, score and rank, depending also on your Google Play Games profile visibility settings. Review those settings in your Play Games profile.
Google’s Play Games SDK also processes gamer identity information, such as a gamertag and avatar, and automatic SDK analytics and diagnostics for stability and product improvement. These Google service operations are separate from the App’s game statistics. The score-sharing switch only controls the App’s score submissions; it is not a switch for all Google service processing. Google processes information under the Google Privacy Policy.
Retention and deletion
Previously submitted scores are not removed by disabling sharing, signing out or uninstalling the App. You can request deletion of this game’s Play Games data through your Play Games profile: open Your Data → Delete Play Games Account & Data, then choose Jelly Merge 2048 under Delete individual game data. Google also provides an option to delete your entire Play Games profile. Google applies its own storage and deletion processes; we do not specify a fixed retention period for Play Games scores.
3b. Apple Game Center leaderboards (iOS)
On iOS, Jelly Merge 2048 uses Apple Game Center for the same three leaderboards: Short, Medium and Long. Game Center sign-in is managed by iOS with your Apple Account; you can play without signing in. When you open the App while signed in to Game Center, iOS may show its own welcome banner.
For signed-in players with score sharing enabled, the App sends the score and the relevant leaderboard identifier to Apple after a completed regular round. Tutorial rounds and test modes are never submitted, and earlier local scores are not uploaded retroactively. When displaying leaderboards, the App processes Game Center display names (nicknames), player identifiers, scores and rank positions.
Score sharing is enabled by default. You can turn off “Share scores with Game Center” under “Settings & How to play → Privacy” (German: “Scores mit Game Center teilen”). Turning it off prevents new score submissions. It does not delete previously submitted scores or sign you out of Game Center.
Score sharing is independent of game statistics (section 3). The App does not send Game Center names or player identifiers to Firebase.
Recipients, visibility and deletion
Apple receives Game Center submissions; Power 2000 GmbH processes leaderboard information through the App. Other players may see your Game Center nickname, score and rank, depending on your Game Center settings on your device (Settings → Game Center). Apple processes this information under the Apple Privacy Policy and its Game Center privacy information. You can manage or request deletion of data held by Apple at privacy.apple.com; Apple applies its own retention and deletion processes.
4. Ratings
After some play time the App may ask whether you would like to rate it. If you choose to rate, the App opens Google Play or the Apple App Store; your rating or review is then handled by that store under its own terms. If you choose to send feedback, your email app opens with our address; we process your message only to answer it. The App sends no rating information to Firebase beyond the statistics described in section 3.
5. Advertising
This version contains no advertising.
Future versions of the App may include advertising services. If advertising is introduced, this Privacy Policy will be updated as necessary to describe the relevant advertising providers and their data processing practices.
6. In-app purchases
This version offers no in-app purchases.
If optional in-app purchases are introduced in the future, payments will be processed by the relevant app store provider (Google Play or the Apple App Store), and this Privacy Policy will be updated as necessary. Power 2000 GmbH does not directly receive or store your full payment card information.
7. Third-party services
Jelly Merge 2048 uses services provided by third parties:
- Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config (Android and iOS; as described in section 3)
- Google Play and Google Play Games Services, including sign-in and leaderboards (Android; section 3a)
- Apple App Store distribution and Apple Game Center leaderboards (iOS; section 3b)
These providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
8. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.
Google and Apple apply their own retention periods to information processed through their services.
Data stored only locally on your device remains there until the App is uninstalled, its storage is cleared, or the data is otherwise deleted.
9. International data transfers
Some service providers we use may process data outside Germany or the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers of personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:
- request access to your personal data
- request correction or deletion
- request restriction of processing
- object to certain processing
- withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future
- request data portability where applicable
- lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority
To exercise your rights or ask questions about privacy, contact us at mail@power-2000.com.
11. Children’s privacy
Jelly Merge 2048 is not designed to intentionally collect personal information from children.
If we become aware that personal data from a child has been collected in a way that is not permitted under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete or otherwise handle that information.
12. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed in connection with the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes, when we introduce new services, or when legal requirements change. The latest version is always available on this page. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when it was most recently revised.
